Citizens Online Police Reporting System

Welcome to the Anderson Police Department's Citizen Online Police Reporting System.

This system allows you to submit a non-emergency crime report electronically and receive an e-mail copy for FREE (e-mail address required).

In order to qualify for online reporting, the incident must meet ALL of the following criteria:

Is this an emergency? Yes    No
Did this incident occur within the City of Anderson? Yes    No
Did this incident occur on a State freeway? Yes    No
Are you 18 years of age or older? Yes    No

If the incident you want to report meets ALL the above criteria, you can file your report online. To view our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) please click here. If you are the victim of fraudulent use or theft of a credit card, click here for additional information and resources. Please make sure to turn off your pop-up blocking software before you begin.

Upon completion of the report process, you will:

  • See the words "Your online police report has been submitted". This indicates that your police report is complete.
  • Be given a temporary police report number.
  • Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.

All cases filed using the Citizens' Online Police Reporting System will be reviewed. If further investigation of your case is required, you may be contacted. Once the report has been approved, it will be issued a permanent police case number and a copy will be e-mailed to you (e-mail address required). All future correspondence should include the permanent case number. Please allow up to (5) business days (excluding holidays) for your report to be reviewed.
