APD's response to COVID-19

In order to protect the public and staff members from COVID-19, the Anderson Police Department is taking several steps to reduce exposure.

Chief Michael Johnson released a video explaining these steps. To see the video click here.

The summary of that video is that the Anderson Police Department's lobby will be closed until further notice. Until the lobby is reopened, all records or business-related requests should be done through apdrecords@ci.anderson.ca.us or during business hours (Monday - Friday 8am-5pm) the records telephone number at (530) 378-6606.  This includes requests for copies of reports, copies of incidents and all other related records functions.

For ticket sign off's or vehicle impound hearings, contact dispatch directly at (530) 245-6526.

After sending a message to the aforementioned email a staff member will get in contact with you as soon as possible.

All patrol related functions will continue as normal.  The only noticeable difference to the public is that they may receive a phone call on non-emergency calls that are not in-progress.

For non-emergency related calls for service: (530) 245-6526

For emergency calls: 911
